Guided tour of the mining park and nature hike

Sunday, April 12, starting at 3:00 p.m.

On Sunday, April 12, as part of the DEGUSTIBUS program, the event organized by the Centro Artistico il Grattacielo APS of Livorno, in collaboration with Coop.Itinera and the Municipality of Montecatini val di Cecina, will feature a guided tour of the mine, followed by an excursion through the mine’s outdoor areas led by an environmental guide and experts from the Livorno Geology and Mineralogy Group. A journey to discover the rock outcrops of the mine, to reconstruct the origins of the minerals in the copper deposit, and a visit to the Muraglione Dam.

• 3:00 p.m.: guided tour of the mine
• 4:00 p.m.: nature hike
• followed by: a light snack for participants
